一、学校简介

 内蒙古科技大学始建于1956年，坐落在中国首批十大文明城市、美丽的草原钢城—包头，目前已发展成为以冶金、材料、矿业、机械、煤炭等为特色，以工科为主，工、理、文、管、经、法、艺术等学科协调发展，集本-硕-博教育为一体的多科性大学。

 Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology was established in 1956 and is located in Baotou, one of the first ten civilized

cities in China and a beautiful steel city on the grassland. Currently, it has developed into a multi-disciplinary university with a focus on metallurgy, materials, mining, mechanical and coal industries, mainly offering engineering courses, while also having a well-coordinated development of disciplines such as science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, and art. It integrates undergraduate,

master's, and doctoral education.

 学校占地71万平方米，现有博士学位授权点 4个，硕士学位授权点33个，本科专业67个，在校本科生26000余人，硕、博士研究生4700余人。师资队伍实力雄厚，科研力量强劲，拥有自治区及国家级人才100余人，自治区级以上科研平台43个。科研成果丰硕，近五年获得省部级科技奖项46项，发表高水平论文4500余篇，获授权专利1500余项。

 The university covers an area of 710,000 square meters. Currently, it has 4 doctoral degree authorization points, 33 master's degree authorization points, 67 undergraduate programs, and over 26,000 undergraduate students and 4,700 master's and doctoral students. The faculty is strong, the research strength is powerful, and it has over 100 talents at the level of the autonomous region and national level, as well as 43 scientific research platforms at the autonomous region and above levels. The research achievements are abundant, with 46 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards received in the past five years, over 4,500 high-quality papers published, and

more than 1,500 patents authorized.

 学校自1995年开始留学生招生，是“内蒙古自治区人民政府奖学金”项目院校。多年来凭借优质教学资源、丰富的国际化教育培养经验、完善的服务体系，吸引俄罗斯、蒙古国、韩国、美国等多国学子前来深造。培养成果斐然，2025年7月7日《人民日报》海外版专版报道。

 The university began to admit international students in 1995 and is a participating institution of the "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government Scholarship" program. Over the years, with high-quality teaching resources, rich international education training experience, and a complete service system, it has attracted students from many countries such as Russia, Mongolia, South Korea, and the United States to pursue further studies. The training results are remarkable. On July 7, 2025, the Overseas Edition of People's Daily published a special section.

 To meet the diverse needs of international students with different backgrounds, the university offers over 30 courses in Chinese and courses with Chinese cultural characteristics. The student accommodation is fully equipped, and the living environment is safe and comfortable. 四、申请与录取

五、医疗保险

根据中国教育部相关规定，所有外国留学生在华学习期间必须购买中国大陆境内的综合医疗保险（详见：http://www.lxbx.net）。学生须在报到前完成投保。未按规定投保者，学校将不予办理注册手续。

 According to the relevant regulations of the Chinese Ministry of Education, all foreign students studying in China must purchase comprehensive medical insurance within the territory of Chinese mainland (please refer to: http://www.lxbx.net). Students are required to complete the insurance purchase before registration. Those who fail to follow the regulations will not be allowed to register by the school.
